In 2014, a farmer decided to get out of dairy farming and give his life a new direction. His dairy farm became a farm of mercy, where his 32 cattle were to receive their bread of mercy. The concept was well thought out and the founder of the farm had his heart in the right place. Unfortunately, none of this paid the bills. The man began to stumble, the authorities kept putting pressure on him or suppliers wanted to be paid. In 2019, he realized that he urgently needed help. He turned to Frank Weber from the program "HundKatzeMaus", who assured him of their help. Frank Weber himself knows his animal welfare roots and called Gut Aiderbichl - where his animal welfare activities began. Dieter Ehrengruber immediately pledged the help of the Gut Aiderbichl team. A short time later, the Gut Aiderbichl team set off for the beautiful Allgäu region and brought hay, hay racks and much more. Unfortunately, this was not the end of the story: some of the cattle had to leave the farm in order for it to survive. Slaughtering animals was out of the question for the farm owner. Pauline was the last cow to go to the abattoir in 2013 and she was to remain so. That was his promise to himself and his animals. We naturally wanted to support him in this and took on a total of 5 cows, which we were able to place at Gut Aiderbichl Iffeldorf and Gut Aiderbichl Eslarn. Fritz, Maria, Wonda, Butzel and Fabi can now enjoy their lives with us until the natural end of their lives, just like all the other protégés.
