Our swans
Why are there swans at Gut Aiderbichl?
Swans normally live in the wild – on lakes, rivers or ponds – and are therefore part of the native wildlife fauna. However, as with many wild animals, injured swans are often found by people who love animals.
These are often animals with bite wounds, broken wings or those that have become entangled in nets or strings. Once they have recovered, it is often no longer possible to release them back into the wild. At Gut Aiderbichl, these swans find their safe forever home.
