Obituary Eico
Farewell of a bright four-legged friend
Our Eico, a Parson-Jack Russell male, spent the first seven years of his life in a family and felt very comfortable in this association. His life was pretty much fine, but unfortunately the family he lived with broke up. Eico became a so-called separation dog and they tried to find a good new home for him. For the time being, he lived with the family's grandparents, who were a little overwhelmed with him. The lively dog became more and more of a problem, and the older people didn't quite know how to deal with him properly. At that time, Eico himself probably thought "Great, here I am the strongest and the leader". He became wilder and wilder. It was clear that Eico had to find a new forever home.
From lone fighter to pack animal
So that's how he came into the Aiderbichl dog family. Here he was accepted as he was: a funny, lively fellow. The other dog family members showed him where his rank was, which he simply accepted. It also happened that Eico became a real model boy.
He was getting on in years, but he loved his freedom and his life at Gut Aiderbichl. He was still a funny fellow and loved to eat for a living. So he was also a bit chubbier the last few years, but that didn't affect him and his dog family. He loved to lie in the sun or in his dog bed and appreciated the caresses of his carers at Gut Aiderbichl Maria Schmolln. At some point, it was noticed that everything was becoming a little more difficult for him at the age of 16.
A forever farewell
Eico's eyes looked at us differently. The keepers' eyes became sad when the examinations revealed that he was suffering from a spleen tumour and a kidney tumour. Nevertheless, Eico was active every day with his keepers and romped around with his friends in Maria Schmolln.
Then came days when he no longer wanted to get up so much in the morning, asked less and less for his food and at the end of December wanted to close his eyes forever.
Dear Eico,
We will not forget you. You were grateful that we let you be who you were. You were a funny, lively companion and we are very sad that your beautiful eyes will never look at us inquiringly again.
What more could we have done for you? We gave you all our love and care and hope that you were happy with us.
This also applies to our Eico:
We will be known forever by the tracks we leave behind. (Dakota)
