Obituary cat luck
The "Gleckal" found it increasingly difficult to purr
As is unfortunately so often the case, animals became victims of human fate. The cat’s owner was delogued and asked Gut Aiderbichl for help. Gretl the cat came to Gut Aiderbichl Henndorf with a big belly and gave birth to five kittens. One of them was the beautiful, three-coloured cat Glück, who moved to Gut Aiderbichl Traisen after a year.
Gut Aiderbichl Traisen - a cat hotel for sick, old or orphaned cats
In a former hotel, the cats of Gut Aiderbichl live in 27 rooms, which are not only furnished in a cat-friendly way, but where the masters of purring can also find all kinds of toys, small doll beds, cuddly places and lots of large and small scratching posts.
Older, sick or orphaned cats live in Traisen. Incidentally, there is also a cat living here that was handed in because it had taken the liberty of defecating under the Christmas tree at Christmas. She had digestive problems and probably thought to herself “a tree is a tree”. When animal carer Monika told me the fate of this cat that had been taken in, my breath stopped for a moment. Flecki was brought to Gut Aiderbichl because she was not house-trained and had soiled the flat. Flecki is now 14 years old and she knows what she wants. If all the cats could talk ….

The happy life of the cat Glück in Traisen
Cat Glück or “Gleckal”, as she is affectionately called by animal carer Monika in Traisen, was just under two years old when she moved from Henndorf to Traisen. She suffered from a food intolerance, needed special food and a lot of care.
Glück enjoyed her life to the full and loved to eat. Petting her was great, sitting on the lap of the animal carers was wonderful and “Gleckal” also enjoyed going out on the balcony or terrace, using the cat flaps in the windows and doors that led to the outside areas.
Old age brought health problems for happiness
The problems with her kidneys increased and “Gleckal” began to eat less and less until she was hardly eating at all. Unfortunately, the examination results at the clinic led to the decision to send “Gleckal” to the Rainbow Bridge. The only consolation for the animal carers was that Glück lived to be almost 14 years old and loved her life in Traisen. Now there is one less feline soul living in Traisen. “Gleckal” will not be forgotten, because she has left her mark on the hearts of her carers. So long, dear “Gleckal”!
