Look and help
Gremlin, Söckchen, Pipsi, Reno and Gini have moved into the cat villa
A long-time sponsor of Gut Aiderbichl helped dogs, cats, goats, sheep and chickens after their owner passed away. The animals lived on the deceased’s large property, heirs only came forward months later and now the property is being sold and the animals would soon no longer have a home.
For months, the animal-loving woman had cared for the animals and used all her resources to find wonderful places for the animals she had left behind. They are all doing well. Five cats – Gremlin, Söckchen, Pipsi, Reno and Gini – remain, and time is running out. The cats have to go, the property is sold.
The kittens are trusting and love their rescuer, but she can’t take them in because there are already five cats and a dog living in the house.

Around 600 cats live on all of Gut Aiderbichl’s farms. These are abandoned cats, stray cats, cats that cause trouble in the neighbourhood by wandering around or cats whose owner has died.
One of Gut Aiderbichl’s three visitor farms is Deggendorf in Germany. The site includes a beautiful cat villa, where many cats have found their forever home.
The cat villa in Deggendorf is an old farmhouse whose eight rooms and two bathrooms have been adapted to the cats’ needs. Each of the rooms is designed and furnished in a different colour. Countless cat baskets, beds and cat loos are available for the velvet paws.
The cat barn, which is also located in the cat villa area, is home to kittens that are less sociable with the other cats. So everyone can find what they need here.

More InformationGremlin, Söckchen, Pipsi, Reno and Gini are still exploring whether they should settle in at the Katzenstadel with tomcat Nikky, a former stray, or whether they should live in one of the colourfully furnished rooms in the villa. That’s where Sina, a cat who at one point sat all alone outside the gates of Deggendorf, lives.
Every cat has its own idea of life, and the five rescued velvet paws will find the right home for them at the Deggendorf estate.
They were lucky to be lovingly fed and cared for by the animal-loving lady after the death of their owner. They were even luckier when they travelled to Gut Aiderbichl.
All our thanks for the loving care of the cats go to the rescuer:
As long as we have to protect the animals, we have achieved nothing.
Only when we no longer have to protect animals will we have achieved anything.
Then we will have changed something: UNS.
Gremlin, Söckchen, Pipsi, Reno and Gini – these five wonderful cats were lucky enough to be rescued by someone who lives by Gut Aiderbichl’s guiding principle. Danke.
