Bobby and Lillyfee
Sell on Ebay or take to a shelter?
The bunnies Bobby and Lillyfee lived in the apartment of an animal-loving lady. To the adorable bunnies were also two representatives of velvet paws.
The tenant felt more and more that the apartment owner did not agree with the animal husbandry situation and thought about how and where she could accommodate the two bunnies Bobby and Lillyfee, because they could not spend the rest of their lives free-roaming in the kitchen.
Where should be the new home of Bobby and Lillyfee?
Selling Bobby and Lillyfee via Ebay? That was probably out of the question. Where would the animals go? How would they fare there? Taking them to the animal shelter? That was not an option either. The idea that the bunnies would sit there in a cage waiting for someone to come and get them was not a good one either.. The solution was to be Gut Aiderbichl Deggendorf.
Bobby, the one year old lionhead
Lionheads are small rabbits, weigh up to 1.6 kg and come from France. This breed of rabbits is called like that, because the body hair is short, but the head hair is long and looks like a lion's mane.
Bobby's character is exactly that of a lion maned rabbit. He is lovable, funny and cheeky in his manner and he has an absolutely strong personality.
When Bobby preens himself, the long hairs on his head fly with every movement. His mane also makes keeping him high maintenance. The coat should always be combed to prevent matted areas. Bobby's coat is brown.
His beautiful rabbit eyes flirt with the other bunnies in the enclosure, however, the keepers are also spoiled with languorous looks - usually there is a small, tender extra carrot in return.
Lillyfee, the one year old dwarf rabbit
Lillyfee is a tricolor rabbit beauty and now feels visibly at home with Bobby and the many other rabbits at Gut Aiderbichl in Deggendorf.
The free "Housing" enjoys ever greater popularity among rabbit owners, because it is validat least as far as the freedom of movement is concerned, beside the outside attitude as animal-fairly. The rabbits have the opportunity to move freely and explore their surroundings, while the owners can maintain close contact with them.
Life in pairs in the apartment and now in the group
Bobby and Lillyfee are happy in the group and make friends. They love to hop in the grass with all the rabbits, sometimes hide under a bush and are happy in their new forever home at Gut Aiderbichl Deggendorf.
What do Bobby and Lillyfee feel after living in the apartment of the former owner? Do animals have feelings? What could they be? Even more difficult than the question of whether animals have feelings is the question of which feelings they have. In fact, all mammals feel basic emotional states such as fear, anger, sadness, affection, or joy like humans do. In any case, Bobby and Lillyfee are happy about life in the rabbit group and they will be happy when the former owner comes to visit. Once we are in the hearts of our animals, we stay there - forever.
