"Cat alarm" at Gut Aiderbichl
Millions of cats live in European households. However, the number of unneutered cats fighting for survival every day on farms, scrap yards, on the street or in the neighbourhood is significantly higher. Countless cats are handed in to animal shelters every day, while others are abandoned. Baby cats are also very often surrendered or abandoned because no buyers can be found for them.
For several weeks now, Gut Aiderbichl’s animal emergency centre has been inundated with requests for cats looking for a new home. Some of the cats we have taken in were carrying “little secrets” in their tummies. Now around 20 “little secrets” are waiting for a loving home with people who love cats and would like to take in one of our kittens. Some of the young velvet paws are only a few days old, some are around 12 weeks old.
The road to my heart is paved with paw prints.
