Cats are looking for a loving forever home
Currently 150 cats live at Gut Aiderbichl Maria Schmolln under the protection of Gut Aiderbichl. They are found cats, were strays, abandoned kittens but also older cats, they have survived floods etc.
The large cat family is spread out in various cat rooms and in the large garden. The animal carers give them lots of cuddles. There is good food every day and a small treat here and there. The cats love being stroked and cuddled on the keepers’ laps. And all the cats don’t cause any problems for new arrivals, but simply bring joy.
Reception, health check and a carefree cat life
When it is possible to adopt a cat, the routine begins. A comprehensive health check eliminates the risk of introducing any infectious diseases. Some animals have injuries that need to be treated. Many cats are shy and don’t trust humans at all, and getting an animal’s love is often more difficult than applying a professional bandage.
Understanding the feelings of a cat
The Aiderbichl animal carers are well trained and are good at interpreting the feelings of cats, dogs and horses.
So we know that cats feel, that they experience emotions such as happiness, excitement and fear in their own way. In any case, it is good to familiarise yourself with a cat’s body language. Every movement of the tail, the position of the ears and the impressive facial expressions tell humans what the cat likes or dislikes.
The observations of the keepers of the following cats tell us that the animals want a loving and protected home in a human family. This means that the following kittens are available for rehoming and may be waiting for you?
Cats from Gut Aiderbichl Maria Schmolln are looking for a loving home
Anabell – is an eleven-year-old cat that people took with them from Croatia. Anabell has settled in well, needs outdoor access and is very cuddly. However, she can also be moody, so we think she would be happiest as a single cat.
Hope – is eight years old and came to Maria Schmolln with her kittens. The young cat family was found in a barn years ago by people who love animals. Hope is shy and absolutely needs to be let out.
Ludmilla – is fourteen years old and was probably a kitten when Deggendorf in Germany was flooded in 2010. We were able to rescue the cat back then and she became an Aiderbichler because nobody had missed her after the flood. Ludmilla is suitable as an indoor cat, she is cuddly and shows people when she wants to be left alone.Malin – Malin is fourteen years old and came to Gut Aiderbichl Maria Schmolln from Croatia. On the day he was admitted, he was not in good health. Unfortunately, one eye had to be removed, which still doesn’t bother Malin today. He is a little sceptical and you have to “patiently expect” his trust, but then it works out very well.
Imani – the beautiful cat Imani is about four years old and came to an animal shelter as a found cat. She is shy and loves balconies. As a human, you have to earn her trust, but Imani doesn’t make it too difficult.
Vincent and Wild Hilde – are around five years old and were abandoned years ago. Both are shy and need a lot of attention. Maybe you have a balcony – then you’ll soon have a friend with four paws.
And there are also Ruby, Aslan, Nacho, Shiva, Mira and Salem waiting for animal-loving people who want to give them a chance for a loving and sheltered life.
