Bitch Paula
is waiting for a loving new home
From the perspective of an Aiderbichler
(written by Gisela Pschenitschnig)
Paula is nine years old and a pointer-beagle mix. She has spent the last few years with her owner, who has now turned to Gut Aiderbichl’s animal emergency centre for help. Paula urgently needed a new forever home.
“I am looking for a good, new home for my dog Paula”
Paula’s owner keeps visiting Gut Aiderbichl’s animal visitor centre in Iffeldorf, and so the desire to give Paula a new home here became stronger. A lot has changed for Paula’s owner: his life situation has changed since he got his Paula, there are also health reasons and other things that prevent him from giving Paula what she needs: lots of time to be together and for the activities that a dog needs. He now felt totally overwhelmed because time for Paula was becoming increasingly scarce.
The owner lovingly describes his Paula:
“My dog Paula is a pointer-beagle mix and 9 years old. She has a friendly nature, is rather timid and cautious around other dogs, loves to be outside a lot and run across the fields. She is very intelligent and likes to be challenged accordingly. (…)“.
What were or are Paula's feelings after she was handed in?
Dogs can recognise different emotions in humans and are very likely to feel them themselves. What exactly a dog feels when it is relinquished varies from person to person. Some animals suffer greatly from the separation, others settle in quickly. Time, lots of attention and routine help the four-legged friend to settle into their new home.
Paula has moved into her new forever home in Iffeldorf
Paula is a wonderful dog. She loves to be cuddled and is an incredibly cuddly dog. She also gets on well with the other Aiderbichl dogs. Her shyness is disappearing more and more, and you get the impression that her fellow dogs are helping her.All in all, Paula gives us the impression that she would love to have a human just for herself. We would love to fulfil this wish for Paula and hope to find a person or family who would like to take her home.
A dog decides once for the rest of its life. It doesn't ask itself whether it really wants to grow old with us. He simply does. His love, once we have earned it, is absolute.

Paula has now realised that she is no longer with her owner. We now wish her new people who want to have her around and can give her a sheltered, loving home.
We wish you all the best, dear Paula.
Herzlichst, Gisela
