Luzy, Sepp and their offspring Herkules
A small funny ferret family
Dhe life paths of two people share. For their protégé Luzy, Sepp and Herkules had to find a new home, because neither of them can keep ferrets in their future home. Earlier, in the common house, everything had been clear: the ferrets were members of the family and lived in the garden house. The small ferret colony in Henndorf can grow again grow: LuzySepp and their offspring Herkules are moving are moving in at the Aiderbichl Henndorf.
Luzy and Sepp are originally from Upper Bavaria
Luzy and Sepp were discovered in an internet ad, and taken in. Both are very sociable and playful ferrets. Luzy has already had cubs, and Sepp once again became the daddy of their common son Herkules before he was neutered. Herkules is one and a half years old and not yet as gentle in playing as his parents. It can already happen that he looks with his eyes quite innocent and then quickly nips. He is, like his parents, curious and bright and probably still rather in puberty. Before the little ferret family in Aiderbichl Aiderbichl, they lived in a large ferret hutch in the garden and were often also allowed to run around freely in the workshop.
"... It is important to us that they have it good, and are kept species appropriate".
If there is one place where ferrets are doing well, it is with our Anna, who loves all animals that are as naughty and bright as Hercules.
For some time now live in the ferret house Carlos and Henry, who had to be given away with a heavy heart because of the owner's change of profession. The be both nimble little animals arrived with their own wooden house. Both have settled in wellbut are not like LuzySepp and Hercules, used to life outdoors. LuzySepp and her offspring live in the outdoor enclosure, because they also lived with the previous owners in the garden enclosure. Anna has now lovingly re-homed the Lucy, Sepp and Herkules family in the area behind the donkey house suitable for ferrets furnished. Lots of cuddling opportunities, hiding places, sand baths, water dispensers, food bowls, etc. are provided. Hercules' parents find their way around well, the cheeky offspring is still exploring the new conditions. One thing is clear, though: Anna is having fun and enjoying her new charges.
Where does the ferret come from?
About 2500 years ago, the domestication of the ferret began in the Mediterranean region. Ferrets are hunters and were already used by the Romans to fight the rabbit plague as hunting assistants. Freeliving ferrets can be found in Sardinia, Sicily and in New Zealand. Many people love the small, funny animals and keep them in private homes. Ferrets live to an average age of nine years. Thanks to the loving care and care of our animal keepers, the Aiderbichler ferrets live well over ten years.
Moral action is that action which is not self-interested but altruistic. Its motive is not its own good, but directly the good and welfare of other beings.
