Happy ending at Gut Aiderbichl Eslarn
Animal lover and protector Gabi from Langdorf desperately contacted Gut Aiderbichl a few weeks ago: She was urgently looking for a new home for her “godchild” and namesake Gabi, the dairy cow. Unfortunately, the 8-year-old dairy cow was no longer producing milk and was to be transported to the slaughterhouse. Unfortunately, all the farms in the area were already full and had no more room for sweet Gabi…
Then something wonderful happened: godmother Gabi organised a unique fundraising campaign for her darling and was able to “buy” the dairy cow from the farm within a very short time. Now it was our turn at Gut Aiderbichl. Gabi the dairy cow was picked up by our team and brought to Gut Aiderbichl Eslarn.
Gabi has now become part of the herd of cattle and has greeted not only her fellow cows, but also the other animals and staff with joyful leaps. Since her arrival, she has radiated so much love and happiness and greets the keepers with gratitude every day anew. The other cattle are also very happy that Gabi has joined their herd. They are all enjoying their lives and are happy that they can run free and no longer have to perform. We are very much looking forward to Gabi making her first outdoor jumps on our pastures in a few months’ time.
