Cat Emma is happy now

and that goes for her humans as well

Emma turns two years old in a few months and can already tell a lot despite her young age. She has a beautiful tiger pattern and gorgeous big dark cat eyes that look curiously into the world.
She was taken in by an animal loving family from a veterinary clinic. Emma had injuries that would eventually make the family's life a problem.

"It's about our little Emma..."

Emma was taken over by the family from a veterinary clinic, because it had probably not been possible for anyone else to care for her. At that time, Emma had a broken leg, which was probably caused by a car accident. So she had been on her own for several days with the injury undetected. Later x-rays showed that a tail tear had been missed.
Emma was also unfortunately incontinent. Our own cat respected little Emma from the beginning, but keeping her indoors became increasingly difficult because she is a bit of a whirlwind and could not run freely indoors. She refused diapers and so she had to wait to run until her humans came home from work to spend time with this cuddly kitten.

They were looking for a place for Emma, where all her health problems would not limit a good life for her. But nobody wanted or could take over the little whirlwind.

Emma remains a lovable patient for life

Like all healthy animals, animals with a handicap have the right to love, care and respect too. Since the beginning, Gut Aiderbichl has provided a new forever-home for numerous animals that were problematic to keep due to their handicap. So now it's the turn of the cuddly, loving, but incontinent Emma.

The new forever-home has become Gut Aiderbichl Traisen now

"Emma has settled in well with us. She lives with Michl and Arion in one room, but she showed them right away that she is the boss. In fact, she has hissed at the two cats, but that has soon settled. Now they accept each other...".

Michl and Arion are good, patient friends and now want to show Emma that cat life in Traisen can be pretty cool. Michl has similar incontinence problems as Emma and understands her problem. Arion came to Traisen from Switzerland a few months ago, because he had a cat cold, and so was given to Gut Aiderbichl by a concerned owner. He is doing well, because according to the animal keepers he has his cat cold "well under control".

A thank you to all those people who take care of animals with handicaps and help them to continue their lives. Cats like Emma, their new friends Michl and Arion, appreciate this kind of behavior.

Friends are gardens where you can rest.
