A visitor attraction shines in new splendour!
Everything began with a dream, was magnified by visions, strengthened and carried into the future: Gut Aiderbichl Deggendorf, a small pearl in Lower Bavaria.
Dr Hatto Egerer fulfilled his dream of creating a sanctuary here, giving many horses a new home in peace and dignity. He and his wife dedicated themselves to animal welfare and completely focussed on it. Bernd and Margarete Funda, friends and confidants, helped with the implementation and continued the mission of the Dr Hatto Egerer Foundation.
Today, many years later, Gut Aiderbichl Deggendorf is located here above the hills of Deggendorf – as a strong cooperation and alliance to help as many animals in need as possible.
However, as is always the case, there is a lot to do on a farm. There is a lot to renew and renovate. Gut Aiderbichl Deggendorf also needed a lot of urgent renovation and modernisation work. We have been investing in the maintenance of the buildings and stables since 2023.
