Happy ending at Gut Aiderbichl Eslarn
Animal lover and protector Gabi from Langdorf desperately contacted Gut Aiderbichl a few weeks ago: She was urgently looking for a new home for her "godchild" and namesake Gabi, the dairy cow. The 8-year-old dairy cow was no longer producing milk and was to be transported to the slaughterhouse. Unfortunately, all the farms in the area were already full and had no more room for sweet Gabi....
Then something wonderful happened: Sponsor Gabi organised a unique fundraising campaign for her darling and she was able to "buy" the dairy cow off the farm within a very short time. Now it was our turn at Gut Aiderbichl. Gabi the dairy cow was picked up by our team and brought to Gut Aiderbichl Eslarn.
In the meantime, Gabi has already become part of the cattle herd and has greeted not only her fellow cattle, but also the other animals and staff with joyful jumps. Since her arrival, she has radiated so much love and happiness and greets the animal keepers with gratitude every day anew. The other cattle are also very happy that Gabi is joining their herd. They all enjoy their lives and are happy to be allowed to run free and no longer have to perform. We are looking forward so much to Gabi making her first outdoor jumps in our pastures in a few months.
