Pingi the cat

a loner

As with humans, there are also loners among animals. Was she abandoned, did she just like a family’s garden so much – we won’t know: Pingi, a beautiful black and white coloured cat, had decided she wanted to live in a family’s garden.

The family cat was not at all happy about the “intruder”. The father of the family had a great idea. He built Pingi her own beautiful cat house in the garden and hoped that this would promote peace and harmony between the two cats. Unfortunately, this was not the case and a new place had to be found for Pingi.

Pingi found a forever home at Gut Aiderbichl in Traisen

It was only in July that two beautiful, sixteen-year-old Persian cats were adopted in Traisen. Perhaps Domi and Luci would make good companions for Pingi?

Pingi turned away from the other cats in Traisen rather shyly, however, and first of all underwent all the health examinations. Blood in Pingi’s urine indicated a urinary stone, which was removed by surgery.

The surgical procedure went well

Pingi, who is just over 10 years old, came through the operation very well and was brought back to her new home in Traisen. There, the carers had prepared a room with its own enclosure for Pingi.
Some cosy, soft cat beds were waiting for the beautiful cat. She should be able to lead her life the way she prefers: without much cat company.

She enters her enclosure through a cat flap, which is no problem for her.

The health problems with her small bladder are no longer really major obstacles. Pingi still has to have a lick more often, but all without any problems and above all without blood in her urine.

Pingi purrs a purring concert of superlatives for her human friend

Pingi the cat avoids her fellow cats, but she is also fussy about people.
She gave her cat heart to a colleague. She is her absolute favourite when it comes to cuddling and stroking. A real purring concert of contentment starts when she is taken onto her carer’s lap and stroked. Then Pingi starts to purr and tell her story.

So Pingi has now found a forever home and a forever human friend.

A cat's eyes are windows that let us look into another world.
