Shiva had to leave

A sad fate

Many dogs, who have had to leave their homes for a variety of reasons, live on the farms of Gut Aiderbichl. Very often it is for financial reasons, illness or a change of home that dog owners have to give their four-legged friends away. The suffering on both sides is great, but the private situation or also the legal situation demands a change and a change of location for the animal.

What does Shiva have to tell us?

Shiva was taken away from her previous owners ex officio, there was an upright dog-keeping ban. It was also decreed that Shiva had to wear a muzzle in the city area, because she had already injured several people by biting. It was said that she tends to act uncontrollably without proper supervision...Of course, we took care of Shiva's fate.

The dog was born in 2013 and is an American Stafford Terrier and Pitbull mix. She was handed over to us directly by the official veterinarian and has been living at Gut Aiderbichl Gänserndorf in Lower Austria ever since. With patience and lots of love we try to win Shiva's trust. She cannot tell us exactly what happened in her previous life and why she is the way she is. But there must be a reason for all this and we would like to work with Shiva so that she has a nice and, above all, more relaxed life with us from now on.

Our carers are watching Shiva's body language and reactions in every situation very closely to be able to react correctly at any time. She deserves to be dealt with calmly and to find out what was the reason for her previous aggression. Was it fear? Was it insecurity? Was she even encouraged to do so by her previous owner? We don't know all that. But what we do know is that we are trying to make a balanced dog out of Shiva with a lot of calm and patience. And we are confident that we will succeed and that Shiva will be able to spend many more wonderful years with us.

Only thanks to your support, dear animal friends, we can help animals like Shiva and offer them a home until the natural end of their lives. Please continue to support us with a donation or a symbolic sponsorship. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
