New addition to the "donkey gang" in Henndorf

Seppl, Felix, Leonie and Georgia arrived in their new home for life around two months ago, to Gut Aiderbichl Henndorf. Dem owner is it age- and location. due to age and above all illnessit is no longer possible, to look after his four pets. The feeding and care wastaken overby a relativeas a substitute.For many years, the donkey owner has been a supporter of Gut Aiderbichl,and his most fervent wish is now, that his four can move into the Henndorfer donkey house. With a heavy heart, but knowing that it was the best decision, he asked for his donkeys to be taken in. In a very well-kept and healthyexcellentcondition the donkeys arrivedin Henndorf.
Seppl, Felix, Georgia and Leonie kept an elegant low profile
The stable was prepared and a loud “welcome-Iah“echoed through the donkey stable. The group of four was rather reserved and shy. In the morning, the keepers left the stable door open, but the donkeys didn’t want to go outside. In a case like this, only patience and love and donkeys will help,such as Santino and Peterle, for example, who were always trotting past the new arrivalsasking them to come along. At some point, the spell was broken. Calmly, relaxed and elegant, as donkeys are, they run and play with the Henndorferdonkeys as if they had always done so.
Seppl, the great thinker
donkeys think a lot, reflect and, before they decide on an action, they think, they preferto think again. Humans confuse this delayed behaviourwith stubbornness.
In contrast to the horse, the donkey is not a flight animal and is not stressed. Thedonkey alsohasthe abilityto escape, tobuilda deep relationship with people. So it was also observed that Sepplmisses his former owner very much,and suffered from the separation. He will never forgethis Lord, but itseems to have been for a few days,that Hippihas been getting a bit more aggressive, Sascha and Peterle approach Seppl. At first, it was a tussle and fighting, Now, however, Seppl is clearly considereda friend. Seppl is slowly losing his shyness and reticence and is settling in well to his new home.
Georgia, Leonie and Felix - the free spirits
Felix, Georgia and Leonie were initially alsoshy and suffered from the separation,but they accepted the new living conditions more quickly than Seppl. Georgina and Leonie are two adorable donkey ladies who now often decide to take a walk around the yard together. They also like to roam around the animal buffetwith Marie and Donna Anna. Felix, at 13 years old the oldest of the new group of donkeys, is above it all and alsolovesto hang out at the animal buffet.
Mario, Crown Prince Rudolf and Falco find favour with the "newcomers"
Mario has been the leader of the “donkey gang” in Henndorf for years. They keep surprising us with funny interludes day and night, and we notice that Seppl harmonises quite well with Mario.
The new phase of life seems to be going in a happy direction for the donkeys. Seppl, Felix, Georgia and Leonie feel at home. They have ventured out of the stable and realise that everyone means well by them. His donkeys send the former owner a quiet “Eww”, which means: “The four of us will never forget you and will always love you. Iah!“.
