Wavy and cockatiels are beautiful pet birds, but they can also make quite a racket. Anyone who has only two of these little animals at home can probably tell you a thing or two about it. When we received the request to take over about 80 of these birds, because the owner was overwhelmed with keeping them, we agreed. When we arrived on the spot, we found that the number of 80 animals had been grossly underestimated. The owner was very desperate and had been hit by strokes of fate. That day, 323 parakeets became part of our family. And once again we proved that animal protection is also human protection!
