An animal lover contacted us in despair. Two years ago, her grandmother died and left her a Haflinger-Wallach named Aperio. She herself had been with him for 15 years, but now she was also unexpectedly his owner. The financial burden was too much for her and she was at the end of her tether. She loved her Aperio so much, but she was not up to the task. She asked for her Wallach, who was so dear to her heart, to be taken in. When he arrived at Gut Aiderbichl, he needed a few days to get acclimatized. But with the love and care of our keepers, he began to feel more comfortable day by day.
