Wavy and cockatiels are beautiful ornamental birds, but they can make quite a racket. Anyone who has only two of these little animals at home can probably tell you a thing or two about it. When we received the request to take over about 80, because the owner was overwhelmed with their keeping, we agreed. When we arrived on site, we found that the number had been grossly underestimated. The owner was very desperate and had been hit by strokes of fate. That day, 323 parakeets became part of our family and once again we proved that animal protection is also human protection!
