When the well-behaved Pinzgauer cow gave birth to a blind calf in 2009, the signs were not good. The little calf Susi would not be able to find her way around on the mountain pasture. The farmer did not know of a solution and called us. Michael Aufhauser agreed to take Susi in, but he also asked to be allowed to take over the mother cow. It is always very important to us not to separate families and Susi would need her mother. From then on, they were allowed to enjoy their lives together. When Susi died in 2019, Bambi was comforted by her friends Heike, Sammy and Sarah.
