Animal rights activists found Billy Boy and his mother Lena at a horse market in Munich. They were standing there in a pitiful condition, emaciated to the bone. Without further ado, they bought them and took them to the vet. But they could not keep the poor ponies. Seeking help, they turned to Gut Aiderbichl and Michael Aufhauser agreed to take them in.
