Heavenly tent instead of circus tent - that was the motto of Michael Aufhauser, the founder of Gut Aiderbichl. It was important to him to help these animals in particular, and to show them the way back to a life appropriate to their species. Bimbo belonged to a circus act. When the circus got into financial difficulties, Gut Aiderbichl was asked for help. For Bimbo, the time in the circus had been very traumatizing. Once he arrived at Gut Aiderbichl Henndorf, he could not be integrated into the herd. He wanted to be alone - very unusual for a herd animal. It was only a few years later that he was able to open up to other horses. The little pony mare Mariechen was able to conquer his heart and together with mother Amelie she finally moved in with him.
