Cheyenne came to us at Gut Aiderbichl in 2011, together with her mother Sinue. All she had seen until her arrival were the walls of her box. Her owner only came to check on the horses from time to time, so they got no movement or exercise. Animal and species-appropriate care? No such thing! The horses were standing in their own manure and food was only available irregularly. Finally, Sinue and Cheyenne were to make their last journey to the slaughterhouse. Fortunately, we were able to prevent this and finally give Cheyenne a normal horse life.
