In our fast-paced times, where efficiency and utility are the name of the game, many breeds have lost their relevance. Many of them have been replaced by high-performance breeds and have thus almost disappeared from the scene. This is also what happened to the Zackel sheep, which could only be saved into the present time by the efforts of individualists. Deborah's owner, Gery Keszler, is aware of this threat and wanted to contribute his share to the preservation of this breed. He built a wonderful herd on his property. But when this became too large, Gery Keszler asked for help and to be taken in. That is how Debora became part of our family.
