When the wallach stepped off the cattle dealer's transporter on his arrival at Gut Aiderbichl Henndorf, you would have thought Franzi was a cold-blooded horse because of his body weight and stature. Months before, he had been fattened up to achieve a higher slaughter price. In return, they had saved money on the farrier.
