Llama mare Gena came to Gut Aiderbichl already pregnant. Her owner kept her and her fellow llamas as a sideline to offer guided hiking tours and to sell their wool. When the success of the failed, and the animals became a financial burden, the owner was looking for a new home. But no one seemed to be seriously interested in the wonderful animals. Gena became an Aiderbichler, and eventually, under the protection of the Gut Aiderbichl family, gave birth to her daughter Maylea.
