A horse owner turned to us in desperation. She suffered from rheumatism, which made her an early pensioner, and was now faced with the problem of paying the entry fees for her faithful mare Ginger Ale, whom she had cared for and looked after since she was a little girl. She did everything she could to hold out for her friend as long as possible, but it was no longer possible. She asked us to take in her Ginger Ale, because she had promised to always be there for her. We agreed to take her in and will continue the promise that her owner once made to her.
