Homer is not easily ruffled. He knows all about risky operations, for example at football matches or demonstrations. He was in police service for almost 20 years and formed a trusted team with his rider. They could rely on and trusted each other blindly. But then came the day when Homer was retired. He could no longer perform his important service. In the past, this decision was usually tantamount to a death sentence for the police horses, but now there has been a change in thinking. The police riding squadrons try everything in their power to find good sanctuary places for their faithful comrades. As a thank you for his years of fearless dedication, Homer was also allowed to move in with us and now enjoys his second life together with his colleague Kornett.
