The plight of the street dogs in Romania is always in the media and there are always reports of the killing stations, where the dogs are kept under the worst conditions and ultimately killed. When we received a call for help from Bucharest because an animal welfare organization was about to be evicted, Dieter Ehrengruber decided to help and set up the Stray Dog Project Romania. Here, the focus is not only on rescuing the dogs, but also on reducing the suffering by castrating the strays. James also comes from Romania and was taken off the streets thanks to the work of Gut Aiderbichl. In the meantime, James has found a special foster home.
