An animal lover contacted us in March 2019 with the request to put her five Coburg chestnut sheep on the "notice board". She had once rescued the animals and housed them with a farmer. There she was able to visit and care for her charges every weekend. But when the farmer was diagnosed with an incurable disease, he had to give up looking after the animals. Where to go with five extremely cuddly and beautiful sheep? The animal lover started looking for a new home. Again and again she got the same answer: "Over the summer the animals could go with us, but from winter on they would have to be gone." Slaughter or euthanasia was absolutely out of the question for the animal lover. She tried everything, including the "private placement" section on our homepage. The woman's commitment impressed us very much and colleagues looked for a solution for Maleika, Joschi, Amigo, Jamuna and Tanja. They have now arrived at Gut Aiderbichl Deggendorf and may stay forever...
