Not much would have been missing and little Joyna would never have seen the light of day. Her mother was almost sent to a slaughter transport - her unborn foal would simply have been disposed of. But animal lovers took notice of the mare, realized that she was sick and urgently needed help. Joyna was lucky once again and was born at Gut Aiderbichl.
