The well-behaved Haflinger mare was already in the greatest distress. The pony riding stable where Lady lived had discarded her and wanted to take her to the slaughterhouse. An animal-loving couple found her and took Lady into their small, private sanctuary. There she met Semu and the Shetty wallach Bonsai. They became a dream team. But when the couple got divorced, the farm had to be given up. Despite all their differences, the couple was in complete agreement on one thing: the animals must not suffer from the separation and should be given a wonderful place. They asked to be taken in by Gut Aiderbichl, which was granted.
