Lea belongs to the breed of degus. These are originally native to Chile. They are diurnal, and can live up to six years. Degus are very trusting. Felix, Puppi, Lea and Lena, were very loved by their humans. They had their own room, and a species-appropriate care. But the circumstances changed. The pet owners had to move into an apartment, and there was no room for the animals here. The degus became Aiderbichler and lead a paradisiacal life here.
