An animal lover asked us for help. She became aware of the two donkeys Lisa and Lotta. They were struggling with hoof thrush, which had occurred due to lack of care. In order to heal the thrush, the hooves would have to be scraped and disinfected daily. For a full five weeks, the animal lover volunteered to take on this daily task and even paid for a hoof care professional. But the effort was in vain. The husbandry of the two donkeys could not be arranged in such a way that a cure of this painful disease became impossible. She was desperately looking for a solution and asked us for help. The well-being of Lotta and Lisa was also a matter of the heart for us and fortunately we were able to make their admission possible.
