In 2017, we received a call for help from an animal welfare activist from Bucharest. She received an eviction notice and should leave the premises as soon as possible. But she had the responsibility for more than 300 dogs. Where should she take them? And simply leaving them behind was out of the question for her. After a visit on site, Dieter Ehrengruber decided to help the animal welfare activist and to become active in Romania and founded the Stray Dog Project Romania. During this first visit, we also found our Maxime. We don't know what happened to her, but her face was unnaturally deformed. Probably nobody would be interested in this cuddly soul. So we decided to let Maxime start a whole new life at Gut Aiderbichl France. Like God in France...
