Surviving as a farmer in the dairy industry is becoming increasingly difficult. Milk prices are lower than ever. For Mr. and Mrs. Süß, working as farmers no longer paid off, the pressure was too great. They were looking for a solution and after a visit to Gut Aiderbichl Deggendorf, the idea of becoming an outpost matured. They contacted Michael Aufhauser and Dieter Ehrengruber and described their situation. We wanted to help so much, but the implementation proved difficult and so a decision was postponed to a later date. Through an offer from Gertraud Gruber, who after many social projects also wanted to get involved with animals, the ball was set rolling. Gut Aiderbichl Iffeldorf came into being and so all the cattle, horses, animals and also the Süß family could be included in the Aiderbichl association. Milli is shyer towards people, rather towards her own kind. She feels most comfortable when she can be outside and let the sunshine on her fur.
