Moritz led a dreary life. He was kept alone, without conspecifics, in the midst of cows and calves for years. Although the pony wallach was occasionally allowed into a fenced area on the farm, an animal- and species-appropriate life requires more: conspecifics, daily grazing, care and attention. When animal lovers became aware of Moritz's fate, they contacted us. Dismayed by this fate, we agreed to take Moritz in. He moved into Gut Aiderbichl Deggendorf, where he can now enjoy life among his fellow animals.
