When we think of "Parsifal", we usually think of Wagner's last musical-dramatic work, which had its world premiere on the 26th of July 1882. But we associate the name with a very special ox that saw the light of day at Gut Aiderbichl. His mother Sybille was a dairy cow on a small farm near Deggendorf. When the flood of the century was approaching in 2013, we were able to evacuate some farmers with their cattle and accommodate them at Gut Aiderbichl for the time being. Sybille's farmers came to us the day after their evacuation and asked to stay with us together with their cattle. Full of joy, we said yes - and thus also yes to Parsifal.
