The Arabian mare Sinue was sold at the age of three to an animal lover, but without any horse experience. During the first farrier treatment, the mare broke loose and ran away. Out of fear, she was kept in a small paddock after this incident. Eventually Sinue was sold, but worse was to come. She was kept as a broodmare in a small box, completely without exercise. The first two foals died shortly after birth. Cheyenne miraculously survived. But then mother and daughter were threatened with slaughter. We were able to prevent this and put Sinue under our lifelong protection.
