An animal lover already kept ponies on her farm and bought a foal to go with them. She named it Speedy. The pony wallach "Little Uncle", who was supposed to act as "educator", made friends with Speedy. Due to an eye disease, "Little Uncle" became blind, which is often not a problem for the affected ponies themselves. The owner, however, saw it differently and felt that the situation for "Little Uncle" was unreasonable. He would be poor and taking care of a blind pony was out of the question for her. Animal friends became aware of "Little Uncle's" situation and asked for help. In order to have a trustworthy pony in his new home at Gut Aiderbichl, Speedy was allowed to come along.
