We were confronted with a terrible sight when we were called by the veterinary office for an animal inspection: 19 almost starved horses, without bedding and food under desolate conditions. Among them was Sultan. The Gut Aiderbichl team and Managing Director Dieter Ehrengruber could not look away, because some of them were already about to go to the slaughterhouse. One was already in such a bad condition that it died the first night. But now we have to dedicate all our love, care and strength to the other 18 horses.
