An animal lover in Greece saved the lives of about 50 local dogs by fencing off a large property. She rescued the dogs from the streets, housed them there and looked after them. When fate snatched her from life at the age of 42, no one really knew what to do next. Animal lovers who heard about it took care of the dogs and continued to look after them. By a stroke of luck, Michael Aufhauser became aware of this story and stood up for the dogs. One of these 50 dogs was Sunny, who was allowed to enter Germany.
