I am looking for a sanctuary for my old dairy cow Lisa, because I just can't bring myself to slaughter her. I own over 60 dairy cows and I find it very difficult to say goodbye to each cow, but with Lisa especially... Unfortunately, it is no longer possible for me to keep her for space reasons and since we have to live off the cows, of course the economic aspect also plays a role.

Briefly about the history of Lisa: I bought Lisa on 16.01.2014 in Maishofen at the cattle auction, because I am a big fan of the breed "Pinzgauer". Lisa has given me a cow calf every 2 years except once, so her genetics are forever rooted in my herd. Until today she has already given more than 100.000 kg of milk, which unfortunately did not pass by without a trace. So she only gives milk on 2 of her 4 quarters (10 L / day) and this summer we had to amputate a claw on her hind leg. Everybody advised me not to do it, because she has already a proud age, but I wanted to try it. And so I managed to give Lisa a pain-free life again with a lot of care and regular dressing changes. She is coping very well and it would be my biggest Christmas wish come true if she finds a home in your paradise.

Of course I would participate with a monthly sponsorship for Lisa! I'm already sponsor of one of your cats. What Lisa has given me, I can not give her back anyway, because the life of dairy cows is not always the most beautiful, but by giving her a place at Gut Aiderbichl I could express a big thank you for her performance as a dairy cow.
