Iffeldorf near Munich
Witness animal welfare
Located directly by the beautiful Osterseen lakes and not far from Munich, Gut Aiderbichl Iffeldorf is an ideal excursion destination for families and animal lovers. In 2009, the farm of the Süß family, Hansi and Martina, became a meeting place operated by Gut Aiderbichl. The 155-hectare estate, with its stunning mountain panorama in the Bavarian Alpine foothills, is just a short drive from Lake Starnberg. Today, around 300 rescued animals call Gut Aiderbichl Iffeldorf their home – including many cats, dogs, horses, donkeys, and cattle. Our camels, llamas, and pigs are also looking forward to meeting you.
In our restaurant, we treat you to vegetarian specialties from the region. Particularly popular is our selection of cakes and tortes from our in-house patisserie. Our wide range of ice cream offers a refreshing treat.

Even if we succeeded in protecting the animals from us, we would have achieved nothing. Only when we succeed in no longer having to protect the animals will we have reached our goal. Then we will have changed something: US. (Michael Aufhauser)
Worth knowing
about Gut Aiderbichl in Iffeldorf near Munich
Gut Aiderbichl has large car parks. Please do not leave your dog in the car in hot weather.
During regular opening hours, our catering team will be happy to spoil you with a variety of seasonal dishes, desserts and drinks. Of course, all dishes are vegetarian or vegan. Enjoy your break in our cosy interior or on the sun terrace of our courtyard.
Dogs are welcome as visitors, please keep them on a lead. Our outdoor dog run is available to you free of charge.
We offer a very special opportunity for lovers: getting married at Gut Aiderbichl surrounded by all our rescued animals.
Even though many of our animals like to snack – unfortunately feeding them is not allowed.
Many of our protégés are old, sick or need special food. Even a well-intentioned apple can lead to serious health problems in old animals due to missing teeth.
Please leave feeding exclusively to our animal keepers. Thank you for your understanding!
Horses & ponies: Can they be ridden or groomed?
Our horses, ponies and donkeys are simply allowed to “be animals” at Gut Aiderbichl.
We do not ride them. However, there are fixed times at two of our meeting farms when our ponies can be stroked and groomed. You can find more information here.
