We hardly know anything about her first life with her owner. However, after the Shettland mare was confiscated by the responsible veterinary office, we can at least guess that little Aperol was not exactly allowed to experience the sunny side of life. To make matters worse, her best friend died shortly before she moved to Gut Aiderbichl. The mare Prosecco, who was already 35 years old at the time, was also supposed to come to us. In order to make Aperol's arrival at her home for life easier, our eager-to-travel pony Barney simply went along and picked her up personally.
