At a large agricultural exhibition, Bables, 6 other piglets, 5 sows and 4 boars advertised a barn that was far from species-appropriate manner. The plastic slatted floor was coloured green and kept meticulously clean. There was no straw at all for them, which "lived" close to each other. After 14 days of exhibition, all these pigs would have been threatened with death. Official requirements and regulations, such as the 30-day quarantine, make it almost impossible to house the pigs on a farm as they used to be. We were able to save all 15 pigs that were to be killed and take them to us.
