Benny was born on a dairy farm in Bavaria. As usual, he was immediately separated from his mother, because she was supposed to get pregnant again soon. But unfortunately Benny's mother did not get pregnant and was therefore "useless". She was to be sent to the slaughterhouse together with Benny. An animal lover heard about this and promised the farmer to find a good place for mother and calf. But two weeks later everything was different. Benny and his mother had been taken away by the trader. The animal lover immediately contacted the trader. Benny could still be rescued, but his mother was already dead. Benny was finally ransomed and moved to Gut Aiderbichl Deggendorf.
