Our Moluccan Cockatoo Beppo is a very self-confident bird. Again and again he lures unsuspecting visitors to Gut Aiderbichl Gänserndorf with his sweet, croaking "hello" and lulls them into a false sense of security.... It's a good thing that there are bars, because without them we would have to treat many guests. But for Beppo it did not stand well in 2011. The operators of the parrot sanctuary were faced with an unsolvable problem: they were too old to continue to give the parrots the care they needed.
