An animal lover from Switzerland contacted us at the Gut Aiderbichl administration office. She had 30 cats and would like to give them to us if something happened to them. But her wish was for the cats to be allowed to stay in the house where they had found refuge. Michael Aufhauser agreed and the agreement was signed accordingly. Nobody could have guessed that just one year later the unthinkable would happen: the animal lover died and her 30 cats were now orphans. Gut Aiderbichl immediately took over the care and Canello was able to stay in his home together with his friends and conspecifics.
